By utilising the mind/body connection, you learn how to harness the creative power of your mind to effectively handle the strong sensations of labour and birth. Topics include: how the uterus works, how fear affects labour, how to access your deep relaxation response, the physiology of labour and birth and how to work with it, brain function during labour and birth, the sexuality and spirituality of labour and birth, the vital role of the partner, and practical breathing and endorphin producing techniques.
