She has been awarded the role as a Global Presence Ambassador for Parenting 2.0, is a Director of the Australian Birth and Parenting Network and runs HypnoBirthing Gold Coast.
Anthea is working with therapy based on the philosophy that our unconscious minds can heal our bodies, and control the delicate process of conception and birthing. She is focused on helping people find their unlimited potential in all areas of life, on helping women to rediscover their natural birthing instincts and works to provide couples with information about their bodies, the birth process, how their mind affects conception and birth helping to empower them to take control of their own journey.
Anthea is married and has two children. She lives on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia.
Trish always remembered being fascinated by babies and how they came into the world and so was really excited on first becoming pregnant in 1999 and then again in 2001. Unfortunately, both of these births were not what she had envisaged. During her third pregnancy she discovered HypnoBirthing® and the benefits of having a Doula by her side. This time she laboured and birthed easily and calmly and this made her realise that birth can be the way she had always thought it was meant to be.
This experience led her to change the direction of her life and in 2006 she became a Certified HypnoBirthing® Practitioner. Since then Trish has enjoyed working with families as they bring their children into the world. The use of hypnosis during the HypnoBirthing® classes also intrigued Trish and she became fascinated with the untapped potential of the subconscious mind. As a Clinical Hypnotherapist she can assist HypnoBirthing® families with issues that are outside the scope of the classroom setting. This broadens the scope of her practice to include a larger range of issues. Hypnotherapy commonly helps alleviate anxiety, stress, addictions, depression, and PTSD. It can assist with weight reduction, improving self confidence and infertility as well as many other issues.
Trish has always provided a good sounding board, listening with a compassionate ear and wanting to help people solve their life’s challenges. Her genuine desire to connect with people needing support, underpins her skill set and she is often told that her calming manner and comforting voice offer reassurance to the wonderful people she has worked with over the years.
Trish says…“I look forward to being by your side as your Hypnotherapist should you need support with life’s challenges…or as your HypnoBirthing® Practitioner for when you are pregnant and choose a birth free of fear…or as your Doula for when you decide that you need hands on emotional support during birth…or maybe all three! Thank you.”

Hello to all you beautiful birthing couples.
My name is Brooke, founder and director of Birth your way HypnoBirthing and I am passionate about all things birth. After HypnoBirthing® our son Oliver, my desire to provide other birthing couples with the knowledge to achieve an empowered, informed and calm birth were truly ignited.
I have a wonderfully supportive husband whom is also a massive advocate for woman and family centered birth.
I am a Birth Story Listener. This enables me to work with mums, dads and birth professionals to help find “new meaning” to a traumatic birth experience.
I feel extremely blessed and privileged to work with the amazing mums and dads, who I welcome with open arms through the Birth your way HypnoBirthing doors.
Thank you for considering me as your HypnoBirthing Practitioner
As long as I can remember I have been fascinated with the human body, this changed direction slightly after the birth of our 1st child and it was specifically women’s bodies and how amazing they are to grow and birth a baby. I decided to take this passion and turn it into a job, after all not too many people get to actually have a job that they are passionate about. I studied and became a doula. I loved working with women on their journey towards motherhood, be it the 1st or 10th time that they were birthing. However, talking to women in the community it became known to me that not all women were having the birth experience that they desired, I was desperate to reach and empower more women than I could possible doula, and so after our amazing, calm, stress-free and empowering birth of our second child I decided to become a Hypnobirthing Practitioner.
Now there are many different types of childbirth education classes out there but I loved that HypnoBirthing is also a philosophy and most importantly, evidence based. One of my favourite moments in class are the ‘ah-ha’ moments that my mums have when what I am teaching all falls into place. I love seeing how women who often commence the course stressed and anxious finish the course, feeling relaxed, empowered and trusting in the body’s natural ability to birth their baby.
I offer small group classes of up to 6 women and their support person or you can have private classes in your home.
You can find out more about the HypnoBirthing classes and other services I offer at my website.
Even though we may have not met, my wish for you is to have a birth that you will remember as calm, stress-free and empowering.
xx

Julie works in the area of health psychology which is a holistic approach that focuses on how all facets of your life have an impact on both your physical and mental health. Psychological studies show that the mind and body have a strong bi-directional link. As mental health declines, physical health can wear down; and if physical health declines, it can make a person feel mentally and emotionally, “down.”
She treats a wide range of health issues by combining hypnotherapy, naturopathy (which includes homoeopathy and Bach flower remedies), Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) and nutrition.
Some of the conditions treated are:

- phobias
- high blood pressure
- eating disorders
- depression
- digestive imbalances
- IBS
Fertility.
Unexpressed emotions such as anguish, guilt or shame often felt after a termination, or sadness or grief after a miscarriage, can create extreme emotional conflict which affects every cell of the body and can cause or compound reproductive problems.
This mind-body programme reduces stress and increases confidence, instilling a sense of control which maximises chances of conceiving naturally and increases the success of medical assistance such as IVF.
Julie obtained her degree in Psychology, her Masters Degree in Behavioural Health Science (Distinction), and her Ph.D in the field of psychoneuroimmunology from the University of Sydney. She has lectured at the university in the Faculty of Health Sciences as a staff member and also as a guest lecturer in complementary medicine.
